Purpose

To accommodate clients seeking professional cleaning services during federal holidays and holiday weekends while maintaining transparent expectations and fair labor compensation, Refresh & Organize by Chelsie has implemented the following Holiday Cleaning Policy. This policy outlines applicable surcharge dates, terms of service, approval requirements, and client obligations.

Definition of Holiday Cleaning

A "Holiday Cleaning" refers to any cleaning appointment scheduled on a recognized U.S. federal holiday, or on a holiday weekend, which includes:

  • The Friday before the holiday
  • The holiday itself
  • The weekend (Saturday and/or Sunday)
  • The Monday following the holiday (if the holiday falls on or near a weekend)

Additionally, Christmas Eve (December 24) and New Year’s Eve (December 31) are classified as holiday cleaning dates.

Holiday Cleaning Surcharge

All confirmed appointments on qualifying holiday dates are subject to a non-refundable Holiday Cleaning Surcharge of $125, which is applied in addition to the standard service rate.

Key Terms:

  • The surcharge is mandatory and non-waivable on qualifying dates.
  • Coupons, promotions, or loyalty discounts may not be applied to holiday appointments.
  • Clients will receive written notice of the surcharge during booking and must confirm acknowledgment before service is finalized.
  • This surcharge may be combined with after-hours or emergency service surcharges where applicable.

Holiday Cleaning Requirements

Approval Required

  • All holiday appointments must be approved in writing by the Company.
  • Availability is limited and scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Clients will be notified at time of inquiry whether a date qualifies for a surcharge and if staff are available.

Surcharge Confirmation

  • Clients must acknowledge the Holiday Cleaning Surcharge via signed invoice, booking form, or written communication.
  • Failure to confirm surcharge terms may result in automatic cancellation of the appointment.

Rescheduling and Cancellation

  • Holiday appointments are non-refundable and non-cancelable once confirmed.
  • Any request to cancel or reschedule a holiday appointment will result in the full service amount being charged.

All combined surcharges will be disclosed at time of booking and must be approved prior to scheduling.

Photo Documentation & Satisfaction Guarantee

CompanyCam Requirement

  • Time-stamped, geo-tagged before-and-after photos
  • Optional video walkthrough (upon request)
  • Internal records for quality assurance and dispute resolution

Satisfaction Guarantee Eligibility

  • The client must be present for the post-clean walkthrough OR
  • The client must request a CompanyCam photo/video report at the time of booking
  • Complaints must be submitted within 4 hours of service completion
  • No third-party photos or late reports will be accepted

How to Book a Holiday Cleaning

  1. Submit your request using the Holiday Booking Request Form
  2. Email our team at refreshandorganizebychelsie@gmail.com to confirm holiday availability
  3. Approve surcharge and service summary in writing to finalize your appointment

All holiday cleanings must be confirmed at least 48 hours in advance unless being requested as an emergency service.
